Kelly Weekes – Author Marketing Mentor and Coach

Thinking about how to build your audience and author brand on social media and market your book can feel overwhelming. That is why I offer social media marketing mentoring for authors so I can take you through the process step by step, showing you exactly what you need to focus on and do and being there to feedback on what you’re doing and cheer you on.

I guide authors through getting clear on their positioning and their book’s positioning, understanding who their target audience is, knowing what content to share to resonate with that audience and how to use the different channels they want to focus on to effectively market their book and grow their audience.

I have extensive experience of working in marketing in house at some of the UK’s biggest publishers. I’ve worked across a broad mix of authors including household brand name authors, fiction, non fiction and children’s authors. I’ve also supported both traditionally published and Indie authors.

‘Kelly is so warm and knowledgeable that a session with her is like chatting with a good friend, but one who understands social media strategy and who will gracefully share with you how you can use your time better online. She’ll tell you absolutely everything you need to best showcase your writing life in the world. With kindness, intelligence, and great industry insight, Kelly helps writers to find their voice amidst the clamour, reminding us of the importance of story, heart and value. I loved working with her.’
