I’m a Social Media Marketing Consultant and the face behind Marita Oury Media.
I work with small businesses and entrepreneurs to help them focus on their goals and achieve these through their marketing and social media, in whichever way suits them best.
After working in marketing communications on the agency and corporate sides for many years, I wanted to bring my skills up to date and have more flexibility over my working life.
This lead me to train with Digital Mums, gaining my Diploma in Social Media Marketing. While the basic marketing principles remain the same as they ever were, there is always something new to learn and I try to keep up with latest thinking. I recently completed the Facebook and Instagram Ads Course through the SMM Hub’s Ads Manager Academy.
Outside work, you can find me either at home with my husband and three children, doing up my new build house or exploring the great outdoors of the Peak District and beyond.

This is for you if you’re on social media but things aren’t going as well as you had hoped and you’re not sure why. I carry out an audit of your existing presence on social media and report back with recommendations on how to improve your activity.

💡 Power Hours
Power Hours are for anyone but they are particularly good if you have something — or several somethings — specific that you want guidance on. We can cover a lot in an hour. An hour and a half is even better (and what I normally recommend to start).

🌿 Nurture packages
A Nurture package is great if you want some handholding to ensure you get maximum results. We would work over a longer period, usually up to 6 months, and you get up to 5 x 1:1 calls with me.

This looks at where you are positioned in the market, and covers what, where and when you should be posting and who your ideal audience is.
I can focus on particular areas such as detailed audience development, content strategy, campaign idea generation, community management, whatever is most relevant to your circumstances.

Facebook & Instagram advertising is my new jam. I am fully trained in optimising ads on these platforms. If you are finding advertising tricky to navigate (it is tricky to navigate!), you’re not getting the results you were hoping for or are thinking of doing some advertising in the near future, get in touch.
